Air Fryer Pigs in a Blanket

Frozen Biscuits, thawed (you could use canned biscuits or crescent rolls)

Hot dogs

1 egg, beaten

Condiments of your choosing – ketchup, mustard, relish, etc

Flatten the biscuit dough and wrap one around each hot dog.  Seal the edges by pinching together.

Place in air fryer and lightly brush each ‘piggie’ with the beaten egg.

Turn air fryer  to 370 and cook ‘piggies’ for 14 minutes.  I brushed with the egg wash again at the 5 minute mark, let them cook for another 2 minutes and then turned them turned them over.

Then I brushed with the egg wash and let them cook another 5 minutes, brushed with the egg wash and then let them cook for the remaining 2 minutes.

Air Fryer Fried Pies

What a surprise these little guys turned out to be!  Tender flaky crust.  Yummy goodness on the inside.  Wow!  Now I’m gonna have to try every flavor of pie filling I can find!

Refrigerated pie crust

Canned pie filling (any flavor: cherry, apple, lemon, etc)

Egg, beaten

Let crust come to room temperature and then using a small plate as a guide or bowl about 4 inches in diameter cut out circles.

Place about a 1/4 to a 1/3 of a cup of pie filling on half of the pie crust circle.  Fold crust in half over the pie filling and seal edges with a fork.

Place pies (as many as you can without overlapping) in air fryer and brush with beaten egg (egg wash).

Set temperature to 370 and set timer to 14 minutes.  Turn pies halfway through cook time.  Be sure to keep an eye on the pies so they don’t over brown.

Crust was flaky and tender…delicious!

Air Fryer Crab Rangoon

Michael and I both love crab rangoon.  Never in a million years did I think I’d make anything at home that would rival what we’ve had a Chinese restaurants…but these are definitely the real deal!  Yum!

1– 8 ounce pkgs cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 of onion, minced

1/2 Tbsp garlic powder

1 Tbsp sugar

8 ounces imitation crab meat, flaked

1 – 14 ounce pkg wonton wrappers

  1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, onion, garlic powder and sugar until smooth.
  2. Gently stir in crab meat.
  3. Place a dollop (about a tablespoon) of crab mixture into the middle of each wonton wrapper.
  4. With wet fingers fold on the diagonal and press to seal edges.

5. Then fold the two longer edges toward each other and seal with the help of a wet finger.

6. Place in air fryer (not overlapping) and cook at 390 for 5-6 minutes, flipping once midway.

Serve with a sweet and sour dipping sauce.

Air Fryer Wings

These were a big hit with my family.  We all enjoyed these yummy wings.  They were crispy and tender and cooked just right…a definite do again and again.

1 bag Frozen wings

EVOO

BBQ Sauce

Place frozen wings in fryer basket and lightly spray with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO).  Set to 400 degrees and cook for 40 minutes, shaking basket or turning wings every 10 minutes.  Each time you stir the wings lightly spray the top wings with EVOO.

When the timer goes off pour a small amount of BBQ sauce over wings and stir wings until all wings are lightly coated in sauce.

Turn the air fryer on to 400 degrees and cook another 6 minutes, turning halfway.

**You could use any kind of sauce:  teriyaki, hot sauce, etc…or even one of your own making.

Air Fryer Boneless Pork Chops

Boneless pork chops
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Garlic powder, to taste
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Lightly cover chops with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and then rub all over chops.  Once chops are lightly oiled season to your liking with salt, pepper and garlic powder (or other seasonings you choose).

Place chops in air fryer.  I have a 3.7 quart air fryer so my six pork chops had to be done in two batches, if it had just been the two of us I would only have needed to do one cook.

Turn air fryer to 400 degrees and fry for 12 minutes, turning over half way through.

I served these with rice, gravy, green beans…and of course applesauce…can’t have pork chops without applesauce!

Air Fryer Roast Chicken

1 whole chicken, thawed

2-3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Lawry’s Seasoning Salt (or spices of your choosing)

Set chicken in a large mixing bowl and cover with olive oil.  Rub the olive oil all over the chicken.  Generously cover the chicken with seasoning salt and rub over entire chicken, making sure to get into any cracks and crevices.

Seasoned and ready to go

Set bird in air fryer basic, breast side down.  Turn fryer on to 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. Once the cycle ends, turn bird breast side up and, once again, turn air fryer to 350 for another 35 to 40 minutes.

Excellent! Tasty and moist.

Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

2 medium sized baking potatoes

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Garlic powder

Salt

Pepper

Lightly drizzle olive oil over potatoes and then sprinkle generously with spices.  Rub olive oil and spices over entire potato.  Using a fork, poke several holes into potato for venting.

Place potatoes in air fryer, set temperature to 400 and timer to 60 minutes (my time only goes to 30 minutes so I reset my for another 30 minutes after the initial 30 minutes).

You’ll want to check the progress of the potatoes through out the cook time by poking with a fork to see if they’re tender.

Air Fryer Ribeye Steak

Ribeye

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Salt

Pepper

Lightly sprinkle steak with olive oil and spices.  Gently rub the oil and spices into both sides of the steak.

Place steak in Air Fryer, set temperature to 400.  I cooked for 14 minutes for a well done steak and 10 minutes for a medium rare steak.  Flip the steak half way through the cooking time.
