- 2.5 lb beef sirloin tip roast, cut into 1 inch cubes
- ¼ c all-purpose flour
- ½ t salt
- ½ t pepper
- 2 T canola oil
- 1/2 of a large onion, diced
- 1 oz pkg onion soup mix
- 5 c beef broth
- 2 T tomato paste
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can green beans (I used French cut)
- 2 c uncooked wide egg noodles
- Mix together flour, salt and pepper in a large plastic storage bag.
- Add beef cubes, seal the bag and toss the beef in the flour mixture until well coated.
- Using the ‘Saute’ setting on your Instant Pot brown beef and onions.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix over browned beef and onions.
- In a bowl, use a whisk to combine beef broth, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
- Once combined well, pour over the beef.
- Using the ‘Meat/Stew’ and ‘Adjust’ time to 30 minutes, being sure the steam handle is set to ‘Sealed’.
- When time is up do a ‘Quick Release’.
- Add green beans and noodles to the Instant Pot.
- Place on ‘Manual’ high pressure for 3 minutes and do another ‘Quick Release’ when done.
- Serve and enjoy!
