1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or breast tenderloins
2 cups water
1 packet taco seasoning
1 cup salsa -optional
Put chicken in crock pot (frozen or defrosted, either works) Mix water & taco seasoning – pour over chicken. Dump in salsa. Cook 6 to 8 hours on low for frozen chicken or 4 hours if your chicken is defrosted. Shred chicken and serve on taco shells (hard or soft) with your favorite toppings! We like lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and queso!
